The Jersey Devil

Mother Leeds, resident of the Pine Barrens in New Jersey, had twelve children - it was the early 18th century after all. She discovered she was pregnant for the thirteenth time and cursed the unborn child in frustration - and the father too, but that’s the last we’ll say about him - declaring that the child would be the “devil”. 

It was, naturally, a stormy night when Mother Leeds went into labor and after the child was born, he immediately transformed into a horrifying creature with hooves, a goat’s head, bat wings, and a forked tail, and flew up and out of the chimney, presumably to terrorize the Barrens.

“Twas a wild night and you can’t be left out of the action since you’re playing his siblings. Go out and find your brother, help him with whatever he’s up to (or out of whatever jam he might be in), and make sure the Barrens stay a nice place for him to preside over as the Jersey Devil.
